I have a Red and Green still double boxed.....been offered $1,700 for each one...Not much of an investment when I paid $1,500 for each one in back in 1997. I have a Black one, with the box that I bought at the same time,  that is assembled and been driveway ridden only. It is probably in the $1,200 area. You can find pretty nice black ones without the box for around $1,000. Beyond that it's pretty much condition. The Red and Green will always be worth more.  Hmmm let's see $4,500 put away in 1997- hey Ole Bob, what did you do with all that money ?

I would love to see pictures of the outer and inner boxes if you have them. I have seen lots of pics of the bikes but not either of the boxes.

The inner box is a replica of the 50s Schwinn box.
