Sokol Park
Cedar Rapids.
French made bicycle only si vous plait. *
We will have cake!
Easy and slow tour around town.

* if your Motobecane says made in China on it, it's not French.

That looks like a lot of fun. My Peugeot UO9 would fit right in. It has replacement straight handlebars now. I bought it and a Peugeot (Taiwan) mountain bike from a couple of Hasidic Jewish guys in Lakewood NJ.

Ric,
Bon Jour! I was talking with the shirt tail organizer, and he said there is a Minneapolis version that either starts or ends at a French bakery. He had done it, but, the guys on the ride were pretty hard core, pushed very hard, and the route was straight as an arrow and not that pleasant. Jon wasn’t interested in doing it again, and that says something.
Keep us posted on the Iowa version, sounds like the better ride.

Me -  I like a leisurely ride and when finished hoisting a few Guinness or other wobble pops.
Not the organizer...maybe they'll chime in.

We have a small group here in Homewood, IL - we do the Old Plank Trail which is a paved railroad.  We call it the Dive Bar Trail -  Freehs Inn Matteson to Old Plank Trail Tavern Frankfort (basically an old House) 6 Mile Trip each way.
There's a great Ice Cream shop another 1/4 mile to the west.

We are doing it Saturday....I'll be on the Restored Suburban

Everyone should have at least one good French bike. I have a UO9 which really is just OK.
