Seat grommet size?

Anyone know the seat grommet size used for a Persons seat?  I need to replace mine.

Was also curious about the Krate grommet size and what tool everyone uses when recovering seats.

Krates use a Persons seat, correct?  So it should be a standard size regardless of bike since it's for the seat.

Yes, persons. But not the same. Krates have a larger diameter grommet and use a solid q bolt plus a nylon grommet because they pivot with shocks.

Oh yeah, forgot Krates had suspension.  I've never owned one. 

So... size anyone?

Someone should know? The recover kit from pete will have grommets but was needing a grommet size for buying a grommet tool. On the Krates I pulled apart an original seat and the hole seems to be 7/16" and I think grommet size is based on the size of the hole it fills? Research shows #3 are a 7/16". Also have a 5 speed seat and the inside of the grommet is 1/4" but would have to guess that it may be a 5/16" grommet? I would recover it but nothing is available and is a soft original with only a tiny cut.

Ordered a Hyper-formance cover yesterday and cleared it up. Grommets are measured by the I.D. of the grommet, so most seats are 1/4" and Krates are 3/8".
