Set your goal higher than your potential.
Strive hard toward that goal and you will surpass what you THOUGHT was your maximum potential even
if you don't reach that goal.

Excellent work. You should be proud and that Cruiser frame doesn't even look like the same bike! Glad you gave it new life.......

Thanks Jim,
I finally got enough room in my basement to get all my bikes out of storage.
Gonna try to get them all ready for the upcoming riding season. Currently working on a Tiger and a Racer.
Best to you and yours

Wow, those are both great looking bikes. Nice job!!! I really like the paint jobs/color combinations, especially the chains.
Hope you get all your bikes out of storage. It won't be long now.  ;)

Thanks for the compliments guys.
All the bikes are in my basement now. A few extra scratches here and there but nothing that can't be touched up.

They'll all be on the local bike trails soon with countless lightweight bikers whizzing past these 50lb comfy cruisers.

Their weight is why I simply MUST have gears on them. Uphill is just not gonna happen without gears....well it could happen but then I'd suddenly find the ride not so enjoyable!
 Best to all

I applaud your composition.  That takes artistic talent not a lot of folks have.  Are you spooking those wheels yourself?  That's a lot of work.

Thanks Ozark,
I can barely lace my shoes let alone lace a bike wheel...especially with 144 spokes.
I order them from JB bicycle wheels in California.
They're roughly $150 for the pair. I could probably get them cheaper from other places but, this is the only place I've found that has them in powder coated colors.

Very cool bikes! I especially like the '51 but I'd be proud to be seen on either one.

Please tell us about the chain. Paint? Powder? Your work?
