What is the correct rear rim for a 1970 and a 1971 krate stamped-unstamped, single or double knurling? also the correct pedal and rear tire for both.

Jerry, I think it's:
late '69-'70 - LIGHTLY side stamped S-2, double knurl
late '70-'71 - side stamped S-2, SINGLE knurl
small cap bow pedals

From what I've seen Side stamp single knurl S-2 rear hoops were used on Krates & Stingrays roughly from Dec of 70 to March of 72 , Small cap bow pedals were used on Krates from roughly Dec 67 up until Nov -Dec of 1970. They were replaced by small block pattern small clear reflector pedals from Dec - roughly March 71. Followed by small block pattern small amber reflector pedals until Nov-Dec 71 ( I Have also seen this pedal on early 72 Coaster Krates though ). Large amber reflector large block pattern pedals finished out the krate run until 1973. NOTE *** Schwinn's first in first out parts usage wasn't the greatest and I have seen exceptions to this on original one owner bikes.
Hope that helps.

All 70-73 Krates used the raised white letter 20 X 2.125 Schwinn SLIK.

Not to jack this thread, but could someone post pics of the hardware that bolts the sissybar to the krate seats. Also the hardware that bolts the shock clamps to the frame? Please and thanks.

Also is there any difference in the fenders between the fenders on the krates and stingrays. Or could I use a fender from a stingray, fair lady, or slik chik.
